Rich was a genuine, caring and silently generous humanitarian.  He was also a tireless and fearless warrior for political advocacy, particularly when it came to the Constitution, civil rights,  government transparency and accountability, including bold tax cuts and small government in general. Rich always took the time to be informed and share his opinion in the most respectful way.  He had a way of advocating for his beliefs without insulting anyone who didn't agree with him ... a skill we could use today.  He lived by the words of Rosa Parks: “We had no way of knowing that all our hard work and struggle would eventually pay off; we just kept putting one foot in front the other.” By doing so, Rich created quite a long path of footprints that will be long-remembered and hard to follow.
